The key to a successful survey is being prepared.   Knowing what the CoP requirements are and understanding what the surveyor is expecting during the survey can help agencies to have a successful survey.   The top deficiencies in 2020 included QAPI and Emergency Preparedness.   Is your documentation up to passing a survey? 

In this webinar, we will review the QAPI and EP requirements including identifying the changes in regulations from the Medicare Regulatory Provisions to Promote Program Efficiency, Transparency, and Burden Reduction that went into effect Fall 2020.   We will discuss how surveyors review your QAPI program and which QAPI documentation requirements are most often cited as not being completed.  We will discuss the strategy to meet the QAPI requirement for tracking and trending data and define program activities.  

Emergency Preparedness includes not only having a plan for the patients but also your agency.  We will discuss policy content to support EP, how to use all risk hazard assessments to create your emergency plan, EP training requirements, and ways to test your emergency program.
