Coding changes as well as economic changes are happening in urology for this year (2022) and will have an effect on the functioning of all urological practices. There will be new ICD-10-CM diagnostic changes as well as new CPT codes mandated for urology. These will be reviewed in this audio conference with didactics and examples to help the attendees learn the new changes. New modifiers for 2022 will be introduced and explained in simple language. Proposed changes in the conversion factor and other economic factors and renewals will be reviewed with changes made to these unpopular proposals by a new law passed by Congress and signed by the president.
